Punjabi Poetry Recitation Competition

at Ryan International School, Ludhiana

‘God could not be everywhere, so he made mothers.’ Expressing this sentiment the Ryanites participated in the Punjabi Poetry Recitation Competition held at Ryan International School, Jamalpur, Ludhiana. The selected students of III-V displayed their poetic talent in the final round which was adjudged by Ms. Manjeet Kaur, Punjabi Lecturer, Gujrawala Guru Nanak Khalsa College. The creative Ryanites elicitated Punjabi poems on the theme “Ma”, “Dhee”, “Ma bolo”, using impressive props. Firstly three position holders were selected and felicitated by the judge and the Principal, Ms. Gurpal Kaur Anand. The Principal, Ms. Gurpal Kaur Anand said, “Expressing thoughts in an unfettered manner, helps our students to polish their communication skills and enhance their confidence. Such activities are conducted regularly under the guidance of the Founder Chairman, Dr. Augustine F. Pinto & Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto.
