How did Primary Plus get started?
It was long felt that in the present day world we are swarmed with newspapers, magazines, periodicals and an avalanche of print media, which are basically for the adults. There is an absolute dearth of reading material for children and as such they are naturally drawn towards whatever reading material is available at hand. This might not be very discernible to them and thus may be just a simple wastage of time and energy or it may present them with such material, which might not be very conductive for their young impressionable minds.
Realising this void and in an effort to provide children with good education material SAMS in association with Pearson Longman PTE (Singapore) launched PP, a think magazine on a fortnightly basis for two different age groups.
