Intrapersonal Intelligence


People with high intrapersonal intelligence have good introspective and self-reflective capabilities. They have a deep understanding of the Self - what is their strenghts and weaknesses. They are particularly determined and can work towards meeting goals and deadlines. They are also very good at knowing about their feelings and reactions. Such individuals are likely to be good at one or two more intelligences. Additionally, they are:

  • • Comfortable to learn by thinking and work quietly on their own.
  • • Known to their own strengths and weaknesses.
  • • Good with setting their own personal goals, or have a hobby that they like to keep to themselves.

These people make good Film Directors, Counsellors, Philosophers, Researchers, or Writers.

Famous Example: Plato, Aristotle, Shiv Khera, Sri Aurobindo, Eleanor Roosevelt.
